Location: St. Thomas | PA
Architect: Newcomer Associates
This modified, pre-engineered building when combined with brick, split-faced block and vinyl/metal siding resulted in a cost effective solution for this small Pennsylvania municipality. The 23,400 sf firehouse serves the Township of St. Thomas in several capacities as a public building.
The two-story facility includes a 6-bay apparatus room, community/banquet room and commercial kitchen on the first level and administrative offices, a dormitory, kitchen, weight room and locker room on the second level. Additionally, space is leased on the second floor to a Head Start Program and a branch of the Franklin County Library system.
