The 14,212 SF Cora I. Grove Spiritual Center is a religious facility built to provide students of Shippensburg University a place to worship off campus. The Spiritual Center is located just off Shippensburg University’s campus. Each level features kitchen facilities, offices, and meeting and conference areas. The structure of the project utilizes load bearing masonry walls as well as steel and heavy timber members. A combination of masonry products was used on the exterior walls along with an intricate sloping metal roof design. The large metal clad windows allow natural light into the two-story structure. The design of the large interior worship space accentuates the light flowing into the building through these windows.
